The City of Galveston and Galveston County are extremely important areas for the Red Cross as they are extremely vulnerable to hurricanes and tidal surges. Two offices are necessary to ensure that services are not interrupted when disasters occur.

Operating out of two offices, one on the Island and one on the Mainland, this Unit delivers the following Red Cross services:

Service to Veterans and active Military
Health & Safety Education
